জনতা জেগেছে
মুক্তি শপথে দীপ্ত আমরা দুরন্ত দুর্বার,
সাত কোটি বীর জনতা জেগেছি, এই জয় বাঙলার।
পাহাড়, সাগর, নদী প্রান্তর জুড়ে—
আমরা জেগেছি, নবচেতনার ন্যায্য নবাঙ্কুরে।
বাঁচবার আর বাঁচাবার দাবি দীপ্ত শপথে জ্বলি,
আমরা দিয়েছি সব ভীরুতাকে পূর্ণ জলাঞ্জলি।
কায়েমি স্বার্থবাদীর চেতনা আমরা দিয়েছি নাড়া,
জয় বাঙলার সাত কোটি বীর, মুক্তি সড়কে খাড়া।
গণতন্ত্রের দীপ্ত শপথে কণ্ঠে কণ্ঠে সাধা—
আমরা ভেঙেছি, জয় বাংলার যত বিজয়ের বাধা।
কায়েমি স্বার্থবাদী হে মহল! কান পেতে শুধু শোনো—
সাত কোটি জয় বাঙলার বীর! ভয় করিনাকো কোনো।
বেয়নেট আর বুলেটের ঝড় ঠেলে—
চিরবিজয়ের পতাকাকে দেব, সপ্ত আকাশে মেলে।
আনো দেখি সাত কোটি এই দাবির মৃত্যু তুমি,
চিরবিজয়ের অটল শপথ, এ জয় বাঙলা ভূমি।
